Criniere Schooling Shirt

I’m a big believer in looking the part — look good, feel good, do good. Even on regular schooling days at the barn, I always want to look put together. At the same time, I am always looking for cute new clothes to add to my riding collection (where my other hoarders at?!), and I stumbled upon an awesome new company called Criniére. They make awesome schooling and show shirts that I’ve been dying to get my hands on! I finally got one of their schooling shirts and was so excited to put together a new #ROOTD. Below is what I pieced together for a fun summer schooling day at the barn —

Criniere Schooling Shirt

When I say this riding shirt is soft, I’m talking silky soft. It is stretchy, so comfortable, and super breathable. To be honest, I wasn’t sure how I felt about the color when it arrived but it was SO flattering with my hair color and the tan breeches I wore. It has mesh under arms for more breathability and a unique color block scheme. I can’t wait to buy the other colors and some of their show shirts! (btw, they run small – I’m typically an XS and I got a S and it was still snug. I prefer my riding shirts to be fitted, so it wasn’t a problem for me. But just as a heads up!)

ACE Elastic Belt

I’m not lying when I say I wear this elastic surcingle belt every day. As much as leather belts are more traditional, the adjustability and comfort of the elastic fabric is a game changer for equestrians. It comes in so many fun colors and different metal types for the clasp. The only down side is these belts don’t always fit in my other breeches that have thinner belt loops. But it’s not the end of the world.

Romfh Sarafina Breeches

These are some of my go-to riding breeches! I use them for both schooling and showing because they hold up so well. They have a mid-rise waist that doesn’t fall down (PRAISE BE) and the belt loops are wide enough for even my widest elastic belts. The fabric is thin, which is great for the heat, and stretchy. I don’t really have a preference on knee patch or full seat, but they come in both. I wish I had these breeches in every color!
